Advocacy for the Child-Father Bond

Fathers & Families is a Massachusetts non-profit organization advocating for the right of every child to have two parents. Called by some a "fathers' rights organization," Fathers & Families is made up of men and women who believe that fathers are an essential part of a child's life and that divorce or separation should not change this.

Our Mission

Fathers & Families protects the child's right to the love and care of both parents. We seek shared parenting for the children of divorced and never-married parents, with equal rights and responsibilities for fathers and mothers.

Fathers & Families' vision is a society in which:

Children have a natural right to be nurtured by both parents.
Society treats fathers and mothers as equally important to the wellbeing of their children.

The courts arrange finances after separation or divorce so that both mothers and fathers can afford to house and care for their children and themselves.
Our culture, media, courts, legislators, professions, government agencies and philanthropic organizations understand and respect the essential roles of fathers.
